Ville Husso UFA signing - Reveen
I would be very cautious about Husso. We have seen plenty of young goalies come onto the scene strong and then fall off as players figure them out. I imagine most teams would be hesitant to offer him something long term |

I'd be open to Gibson, but the cost can't be too high. |

FWIW, Duncan Keith is on record as saying that he wants to play into his 40s. |

I seriously doubt Gibson's numbers would improve behind our defense. And then, you have a goalie putting up Koskinen type numbers for 2 mil more per year for the next five years. And this, after we (probably rightfully so) crucified Koskinen in the media for his sub-par play compared to his salary (even though he kept the team afloat during Smith injuries and though Tippet coaching). Plus, Holland would toss the first plus in order to acquire him, with no retention, because....Holland.
I see nothing good coming from this roomer. |

I would say that a division opponent with a high end goalie doesn't trade him for scraps. Cost would be higher than just a first and good prospect. If a contract was coming back, it would be even higher cost.

High end goalies don't have three consecutive mediocre seasons. If ANA could get a 1st and good prospect for Gibson they should take it. |

No way Keith walks away from his 5.5 mil next year. If he wants to play past that, it will likely be Chara type bargain 1 year at a time deals. |

Agreed. He has some substantial child support/alimony payments he makes. He will try to milk every dollar he can from his career. |

Connor's playing the field while Eichel can't even play a playoff game |

The big thing with Keith is it's not 5.5 million he is receiving next season. 5.5 million is the cap but the actual dollars he would receive next season is 1.5 million. |

Doesn’t matter. He needs every penny. His ex gets 60k per month. At least that was what she was awarded way back in 2015. Not sure if it has changed much. |

60K per month isn't bad on a 5.5 million a year contract. I bet the monthly payout gets revisited if he doesn't have a contract.
Maybe he's broke, I have no idea. But the one deal he signed was for 72 million. Kids grow up, dad has free time. Things change.

I’m so glad the chits been scraped off the shoes of the Sabres & their fans. I said two years ago trade him. There’s something about his looks that scream azzhole, maybe it’s that blonde wire hair thing he’s got going on.
However, when Jack gets traded to his third team the get for the Sabres is going to look I’ll. |

It has been confirmed that the video is from several years ago. Also, he's merely holding hands with a woman, and yes, looks to have had a few too many drinks.
It is however very interesting how the average Joe so much wants these heroes to fall. It all stems from jealousy and one's disappointment with one's self. |

Someone else had said it was old and I don’t care. It’s funny. These guys today can’t get away with anything. The old boys would have all been crucified in todays social climate. |

I’m not on any social media.
And I don’t give a poop if anyone steps out on their partner/wife etc. I draw the line at criminal activity though. |
